There is so much to do on a visit to Suffolk around the Snape area. A few miles away is Aldeburgh with it’s famous shingle beach, galleries, restaurants and shops. For lovers of books we highly recommend The Aldeburgh Bookshop, www.aldeburghbookshop.co.uk, winner of the Independent Bookshop of the Year, who will be running a comprehensive pop-up bookshop for us at FlipSide, and the Aldeburgh Cinema, home to the Aldeburgh Documentary Festival www.aldeburghcinema.co.uk
There is a Tourist Information Centre located on Aldeburgh High Street. They can be contacted on 01728 453637, email firstname.lastname@example.org
Walk up the beach past Maggi Hambling's Scallop sculpture and look out for the amazing House in the Clouds rising above the trees on your way to Thorpness.
With its unspoilt coastline, wildlife-rich countryside and charming villages, Suffolk is the perfect place for a relaxing break: a place to unwind, recharge the batteries and be inspired by the vast skies and beautiful landscape.
