Creative Choices

March 2018

We are proud and delighted to be involved with Creative Choices, part of the Creative & Cultural Skills charity.

In March 2018, The Marina Theatre, Lowestoft, threw open its doors to years 9-11 students giving them the opportunity to find out more about the kind of careers and opportunities available in the creative arts sector.

FlipSide delivered an Arts Management workshop highlighting the vital and fulfilling job roles on offer behind the scenes. We encouraged the students to look beyond the obvious performer, musician, writer, director, roles and share what other potential careers are on offer in the creative arts sector.

Creative Choices is a resource for anyone that wants to work in a creative career. They promote jobsadvice articles and blogs from practitioners in the creative sector. They also hold live events for 13-16 year-olds and they have an online panel of industry experts to answer your questions.

Creative & Cultural Skills is an independent charity and licensed Sector Skills Council that believes true economic growth in our sector can only really happen with access to the right talent and skills, regardless of background or previous educational achievement.
