Maggie Hambling, David Gentlemen and Derek Chambers, I could go on, a pretty impressive list already. These were just a few of the fantastic artists that donated a piece of their artwork to our Private Auction yesterday.
Champagne was popped, canapes were nibbled, conversation was flowing and the anticipation was palpable. At the centre of the excitment, was our Auctioneer, Jon Canter, who brought his comedic wit and charm to the stage, prompting the audience into a game of 'tug-of-war' with each painting.
With over 40 paintings donated and a room full of bright-eyed and bushy-tailed spectators,we acquired a hair raising total, making the day one we will never forget!
